Panagiotis Marios Bolovinos
I am a Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer (BEng, MSc, CEng) with a passion for creating exceptional structures that stand the test of time. With a strong academic foundation and diverse experience, I’m committed to delivering innovative and practical solutions for every project.
Academic Foundation: I embarked on my engineering journey with a solid educational foundation. I completed my foundation course at the Interanglian College in Athens, and I’m a proud graduate of both The University of Birmingham, UK, with a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering (1997) and The City University, London, where I achieved an MSc in Civil Engineering Structures (1998). These academic pursuits have armed me with the knowledge and skills to tackle even the most complex design and engineering challenges.
Hometown Roots: Born and raised on the picturesque island of Corfu, Greece, I carry the spirit and culture of my hometown with me in everything I do.
Service to Country: In addition to my engineering pursuits, I proudly serve as a reservist officer (Lieutenant) in the Greek Army’s Body of Engineers. This role has enriched my problem-solving abilities and provided me with a unique perspective on teamwork and leadership.
Creating Excellence: My expertise extends to the design and construction of prestigious villas and exquisite swimming pools. Every project I undertake is a testament to my commitment to quality, innovation, and meticulous attention to detail. From initial concept to final execution, I pride myself on collaborating closely with clients to turn their visions into reality.
Diverse Expertise: In addition to my role as a Civil Engineer, I am also a Building Inspector (2012- ) and a Domestic Energy Assessor (2013- ).
Leadership and Advocacy: An active member of the Chamber of Engineers of Greece since 2001, I have held significant roles within the organisation. I held the position of Chairman of the Board of Representatives of Corfu department from 2014 to 2019. Additionally, I’ve had the honour of serving as the President of the Association of Civil Engineers-Corfu Department since 2011. These roles allowed me to lead and represent the local community of engineers, advocating for the best practices and high standards that our profession demands.
